Real Food Is All You Need: My Healthy-Eating Journey

For those of you who are already familiar of healthy food or already on a journey on fitness or diet, you should have already familiar or heard of grilled boneless chicken breast, and for those who are new let me tell you about this food. Grilled boneless chicken breast is a high protein food, and its easy to make. It is my favorite for go-to food when i want to fulfill my daily intake protein. Since i began my fitness journey and now i am going on a diet, its always been my number 1 food. You must think that there is no way i can eat one thing all the time, and the answer is right, i can not eat it all the time. Although it is still chicken breast but i change the way i make, or the way i seasoned it. You guys can try it too, and when you got bored with it you can change the way the food was made.
The main point of today's blog is i want to give a one or two things about the difference between eating real food and processed food. The first difference is of course the health benefit is different, when you eat processed food or even ultra processed food the after effect when you consumed it for a long time is devastating. Especially if you already have a family and you give your kids or your pregnant wife to eat processed food or ultra processed food. Although its easier to make processed food, the after effect is not worth it. That is why today i will give you the easiest way to make your own real food and of course its benefits.
The easiest real food to make is chicken based food. Today i will share about my favorite chicken dish, and it is grilled boneless chicken breast. Why i choose to get boneless chicken breast instead of regular chicken breast in the market is because it can straight go to seasoning process, you did not have to extract the bones first, so it save a lot of trouble. You can season it with a lot of spices or if you to keep it simple just use the main ones, like salt, white pepper or black pepper, and garlic. But if you want to make it more tasteful, you can add egg when you season it, the other one that i like to add is mushroom broth, a little sweet sour sauce. Then you cook it till it turn into white, and wait for 10-20 second, and then you stop cook it, then give the food some rest.
If you cook it just like how i cook it, the chicken meat will still have some juice inside the meat, which will improve the food taste. And if you want to add another side dish into it, you can cook some broccoli or asparagus, and add some lemon if you like sour taste. Usually i get some extra sunny side egg into the dish just for extra protein and calorie, because for my diet i did not eat rice anymore so to fulfill my daily calorie intake is much harder.
You can also make it into a prep meal for tomorrow's meal or for your next meal throughout the day. When you finish cook the grilled boneless chicken breast, just store it inside your refrigerator, and that's it you can put the prep meal into a microwave when you want to eat it.
For alternatives, you can make the dish using oil and not grilled it. In my opinion, i like it better this way because it is much easier than to grilled it. Although it gives extra calories because of using oil, but if you start to got bored with it you can try to cook it using oil.
The other way to make this is to make into a fillet, you add add flour and egg and then fried it. It gives better taste but obviously not very good for your health, because of the excess oil. But it is still gives new taste to your mouth if you already bored with the previous dishes.
Because the dish is high on calorie, it can last throughout your day without the need to eat again. The volume or quantity of the chicken breast is according to your own diet, for myself i usually cook 250 to 300 in one sitting, plus some side dish like veggies or eggs it definitely will make you full.
And i have this tips for you guys that can not stand with the smelly taste of chicken. When you season it or marinate it, you can add a huge amount of black pepper to help hide the smelly taste, and when you cook or grill it you can add some garlic or if you have it you can add other spices like oregano. Another tips if you did not like juicy meat is when the meat starts to turn white, you can wait for another 1 to 3 minutes, you can adjust the meat hardness as you like.
Last tips for this types of dish is, you can either cut the meat into a little chunk so its easier to eat, but if you does not felt like it you can just cook it the normal way. And if you do not like chicken breast meat, you can try to get boneless chicken thighs. As you already know, chicken thighs meat is different from chicken breast meat, it is more tender and juicy. In my opinion, i like boneless chicken thighs meat more than chicken breast meat. But because of the need to fulfill daily protein intake, i need to eat a lot more chicken thighs meat than eating the same amount of chicken breast meat, because the protein content in chicken breast meat is a lot more than chicken thighs meat.
